When the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, ever problem looks like a nail.?

meaning? When the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, ever problem looks like a nail.?
It can mean that a person needs to know his/her limitations and enlist help in some situations. When the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, ever problem looks like a nail.?
Kernsey is correct.

I would add that his proverb is double edged it is trying to say that in life if you rely on only one method to solve your problems then that is fine but be prepared for the all in one solution to fail at times.

The below article explains it more clearly.

its saying that when you only have one tool at your disposal, you think that everything can be fixed by it. For example, if you are a talker and your good with your words, you think you can fix anything with your words...
when you have limited problem-solving skills, you wind up taking the same approach to solve every problem which is rarely successful.
