I m facing nail inheling problem in my thomb since last 3 years , what is best medicine except operation?

Lamisil is only 60% effective which means that 40% of people will not be cured and it also can damage your liver so blood work needs to be done every month that your taking it. You didn't say how old you are so if your older and on any medications, Lamisil may not be the best for you. There is a topical fungal polish out now called Penlac, it is applied like a nail polish (it is clear) and you paint it on the nail every night and remove it once a week with rubbing alcohol, it is safe to use for anybody but it is precription only and it can take a long time to work. Somebody else suggested vinegar and this is a good treatment for a bacteria that causes your nails to have a greenish discoloration but is actually not fungus. You can try it by making a solution of 2 parts vinegar to 1 part water and soaking every day for 20 to 30 minutes at a time.I m facing nail inheling problem in my thomb since last 3 years , what is best medicine except operation?
If your doctor told you it was a nail fungus, you can treat it with any inexpensive vinegar. Rub some on the infected nail every day until the old nail has grown out. The new nail should look healthy after that. Good luck.I m facing nail inheling problem in my thomb since last 3 years , what is best medicine except operation?
There is a medication called Lamisil that works really great for nail fungus. You will have to see your doctor to get it in pill form. However, there is also a Lamisil topical cream that you can use too. The pills work in your blood stream to heal.

Because the fungus is spreadable, you need to get treatment quickly before you infect your other nails on your hand.

There are a lot of home remedies but none actually work. The Lamisil will work for you. However, it does take about 3 months to actually heal completely.

Good luck.
