Nail Problem Please Help?

I bit my nails and i did since i was about 6 years old and now im 13 and its a really bad habit of mine


my nails are sorta really small now


and my friend wants me to go with her to get our nails done in the salon but im afraid too


beucase i feel my nails are too small and its emabrassing to get my nails done since i bite them and they are small


my friend told me that once they do my nails they are gonn look pretty and ill stop biting them but im still not sure about that


my nails are really short and like

Ok listen. I had the same exact problem. My nails were SO small that i thought the lady at the nail salon would just laugh at me when i asked for french tips. My mom took me and guess what. She said hundreds of women come in with the exact nail problems i have and it was not problem to do it for me. So i got my nails done (french tips) and they stayed on for about a month and 3 weeks, then one of them came off, so i just took the rest of and guess what!? My nails grew! They were normal long girl nails. And what i did to keep me from biting them was i would paint them heavely with colors every other day. To this day they are beautiful long nails i would have never imagened i could have!

Yes. They can fix them and if you want, give you fake nails. A quick fix without fake nails is having them tipped, it gives the illusion your nails are longer. And yes, having your nails be taken care of, whether by yourself or a professional is one way to break the habit because you'll be more inclined to take care of them and not bite them - this worked for my sis-in-law and she was a long time nail biter.

I think it'll help you not bite your nails. But if you keep the fake nails on for a long period of time you're going to ruin your own nails. So just keep that in mind.
sure i have been bitting my nails for 8 years and i see a mancuriest for 4 years now my nails are so short it hurts to bite them.

yeah i think that you should you just have to find a way to stop biting them and they will grow long and become healthy





i had that habit when i was young but i started getting my hands busy so i wouldnt feel the need to bite them you should join a sport that you really enjoy so then you will forget about your nails and have a great time
