Ouch! Acrylic Nail Problem!?

I purchased an acrylic nail kit to do at home.. I am having NO LUCK!

I have followed instructions and accidently filed my real nail down so thin it is painful ( damn you Sally Hansen ).

I've managed to take most of the tip off and there is still a bit left, how can I remove this without completely losing my natural nail?Ouch! Acrylic Nail Problem!?
Use an acetate nail polish remover...you may have to soak for a bit..but shouldn't take long to remove...don't tug/pull until you know it's loose enough...or you will damage your real nail..Good LuckOuch! Acrylic Nail Problem!?
owww.... !!! i dont know if this is going to hurt but soak your nail in nail polish remover for a couple of minutes and hopefully it will come of.. but if your real nail is too thin then maybe i would just leave the acrilyc on
i don't understand why anybody bothers with them

you poor girl unfortunately you will just have to let nail repair itself in this case i think, use a bandaid and take some panadol for pain- use as directed on packet or go to a Dr.

patience and panadol.
My manicurist uses another nail (one from the box) in it's whole form to ';pick'; the other nail off.... it works every time. Also, try soaking in an acetone fingernail polish remover to loosen.
If possible get some straight acetone from a hardware store and soak your nail in this. As the acrylic desolves wipe it off with paper towel and soak some more if needed. DO NOT try to pry it off if your own nail bed is so thin. After removing the acrylic wash hands and apply some good nail hardner to your weakened nails as they will be sore and sensitive for a while.
soak ur hands/nails in warm soapy water for awhile which will lossen up the glue on the nail hopefully then it will peel off with little pain
