A lack of several different vitamins and minerals can cause brittle nails. To treat brittle nails, try taking a multivitamin with 100 percent of the daily value of the essential vitamins (Flintstone Vitamins!).
Deficiencies in vitamin A and B vitamins have been associated with brittle nails. Iron and calcium deficiencies may also be to blame.Nail problem?
I use Nutra Nail Bullet proof strenghtner on my nails daily and sally hansens nail hardner every other day. Also go to sally's and buy Growing Nails odorless garlic nail polish it costs 4.50 and also buy calcium builder as well. Don't use color polish it weakens the nails. Also don't use acetone nail polish remover on your nails to remove the polish.
everytime your nail grows to a certain length trim it so that the worn out part wont affect your whole nail that will pervent it from chipping.
not sure myself, but you might want to research foods and supplements/herbs that will help strengthen your nails
try to use fake nails?????and see if they harden mean while !_!
i have used this stuff i got in a mall you know how you walk through a mall and there are little boothes with people selling random things. it has minerals from the dead sea and all you do is use this nail file/buffer and it makes your nails shinny and hard without any kind of polish. here is a picture of the exact stuff.
