Fake Nail Problems?

I went to a nail salon and had them put on a full set. They used some kind of glue that went over the whole nail that is extremely difficult to get off. I've been soaking one hand in nail polish remover (acetone) for the past two hours, and have had very little luck with getting them completely off. When I try to get the rest of the glue off the thumbnail, it is fairly painful. I'm pretty desperate for answers at this point.Fake Nail Problems?
Well my friend said she had fake nails and her friend accidentally kicked her fake nail off and it hurt so bad she said. I think the glue is meant for staying on. I think you have to go get them off. The glue ruins your real nails though.Fake Nail Problems?
You should go to another nail salon and ask them to remove it for you
Full fake nails are very difficult to remove, and they can cause serious damage to your natural nail for months until it all grows out.

Not much you can do that you haven't already tried. You could go back to the salon and see if they can get them off for you.
What you need to do is try to get a finger nail cleaner like on of those you would pick dirt out ofyour nail with and then you need to scrape around the edges of your nails and pick like your life depended on it
If they wont come completely off after two hours in acetone then you really only have two choices..... rip them off and part of your own nail with them, or just cut them back and let them grow out. Fake nails can be savage to remove.
Usually, nail polish remover cannot get the tough hold glue for fake nails salons uses off. you can go for free to get them off. they soak them in professional remover that will get them off.
They may have used some kind of gel overlay, to seal your nails. It's not a glue but a gel. If they had you put your hand under a UV lamp afterwards that's probably what it was. If that's the case you'll have to file off the gel layer, it can't be soaked off. Make sure you don't try to pry them off (coming from a licensed nail tech) because you can cause damage to your natural nail underneath.
