Nail polish problems?

i need a nail polish brand that doesnt chip!?Nail polish problems?
It is not the polish that is causing your nails to chip. If you are polishing natural nails, make sure that your nails are completely clean before polishing. If you have manicured your nails prior to polishing, use a Q-tip saturated with alcohol to clean your nail bed %26amp; cuticle. After the alcolhol has evaporated, apply a thin coat of enamal to each nail, allow to air dry. Apply a 2nd coat of enamal allow to air dry. Follow with a fast drying top coat such as Toute De Suite by Spa Rituals. Allow nails to thoroughly dry. Your manicure should last minimum of a week.Nail polish problems?
Revlon

I've had the same problem before

I used to use Sally Hansen
All nail polishes chip sooner or later.. but sally hansen makes your nails harder and prevents it best.
I really like OPI and the people who do my nails reccomend it.
Covergirl
OPI
there is no nail polish that wont chip.. try putting a nail conceler on first and then the nail polish you want it will stnad out more and last longer with out chipping
OPI, they usually use it at nail salons for mani's and pedi's.
98% of nail polish will chip I use sall hansen its cheap and stays nice for a while try a clear top coat to finish with to prevent premature chippage!

:)
All nailpolish chips, whether it's cheap or very pricey. However, the techniques you use when painting your nails can make a difference as to how long it lasts. I've had plenty of manicures go on for about 2- 2 1/2 weeks from the cheapest polish without chipping.

Here's what I do:

-Use a base coat of clear polish or a polish made to be a basecoat. Special basecoats help polish adhere to your nails and some even fill in ridges in your nail surface. It also helps prevent/ reduces staining from dark polishes.

-Use two thin coats of color. Generally, I've found that the cheapest polishes work well in this respect because they are thin enough to apply without streaking. Wait until your first coat is completely dry until adding a second coat.

-Add a protective topcoat. This seals in the color and helps ward off chipping. Some people add topcoat to improve shine and durability throughout the week, but I don't.

If your polish does chip, don't worry. Just redo that nail by dipping a Q-tip in polish remover and taking off polish around the chip, and then washing your hands to get rid off any excess cotton fibers. Then just repaint that one area.

I like Sally Hansen polishes (their clear polishes make excellent base/topcoats), but New York Color (NYC) and Wet 'n' Wild are my favorites for colors because they are so thin to apply and are so cheap. The best part about NYC and Wet 'n' Wild is that they contain fewer dangerous chemicals than other polish brands.
Almost all nail polish chips it's a good clear nail polish that will help. But I use OPI it works and Rimmel Underground.
SEPHORA is great! :D
sallie hansen is always a good way to go, they also hav good remover. mary kay has good nail poish too. for revlon, it depends, you never know what will happen with it, sometimes it stays sometimes it doesnt. 99% of the time, its the top coat and base coat (the clear) that makes the polish stay. try sallie hansen base/top coat and see how u like it. also revlon is good for that. another reason that polish can come off is when two brands dont work good together. just try different stuff.

trust me on this. i paint my nails ALL the time and know wut the best stuff is =]

good luck!!! hope this helps =]
the TADE SECRETS store has nail polish on sale right now! AND IT DOESN'T CHIP FOR LIKE 3 WEEKS! it's awesome! =D shoot, but I forgot the name, but when you get there, they only have that one good brand with a million different colours! =D
NYC. I get it at WalMart. Its like a dollar and it never chips!
OPI is awesome..!!
The brand is called ';Hard Candy'; it doesn't chip for a couple weeks, it rocks!
all chip if your ruff on your hands
Usually I fix this problem by painting a clear coat of polish underneath then, once i'm done with painting color i put another clear coat over the top.
oops, i forgot.
Nyc it's only 94 cents a target
essie
TRUST ME!!! O.P.I. is the brand and i love it. it is the only nail polish that works for me and does not chip. i still have my nail polish on from 2 weeks ago and they're not even chipped so use it!
Sally Hansen and OPI
well the truth is they all chip, so i think u need a clear topcoat, it will last wayy longer and won't chip, i also reccomend maybelline new york, i don't know if i spelled that right but w/e, and good luck, oh i just remembered Sally Hansen is a good one too it doesn't chip as much.
If your nails are like mine they'll chip with any polish unless you use a primer first and top coat last. I have to buff mine good first, wash well, apply primer, apply 2 thin coats polish (OPI works well when applied thin) and then a top coat (usually Diamond Shine). This is the only way I can keep polish from chipping and even then it doesn't last any longer than a week unless I apply more clear top coats every few days.

The best top coat I've found comes in a silver bottle and is called Diamond Shine---found at Walmart.
OPI, my friend wore it on her toes and it didn't chip or rub off for over a month!
I love Sally Hansen, it almost never chips, and it helps problem nails.
