What are problems with nailing into a cinder block wall?

You'll probably end up with a big hole in the wall, and the nail won't stay in place. The wall shouldn't fall down, though.

Even if you don't get a big hole, the nail won't hold any weight and will prbably fall out. What are problems with nailing into a cinder block wall?
we nail concrete forms into them all the time but this is usually a tempory thing until the forms are stripped. i would use tap-cons , redheads or a metal lag, if you happen to hit a hollow core you could use a toggle bolt...
depends if the wall is hollow or filled with concrete %26amp; reinforcing steel. If hollow you could greatly damage the block. Suggest drilling holes and plugging them with wood to nail to. or use concrete anchors such as redhead anchors.
