My toe and hand nails are not clear and soft like everybody else. They are a bit yellow and there are like vertical lines running through them. I went to a nail doctor when I was smaller and all he did was look at my nails and give me some cream that did not help.Sometimes I feel embarassed to show them. The only way I can make them look normal is by filing the whole nail,then it looks nice. Somebody tell me something please.Anybody know what nail problem is this?
Maybe you have a fungal nail infection. I would say you should go to the nurse/doctor or even ask the pharmacist for advice as they will be able to help. It's hard to tell without a picture!
Also, it isn't a good idea to file all of your nails as you will make them really thin and prone to infection.Anybody know what nail problem is this?

Get a big plastic bowl thing for generic use, fill it up with warm water and sea salt and soak your feet in it for 2 hours.
I've known someone that had that because she never wore socks.. but who knows?
